Vet A Vet — Privacy Policy

Vet A Vet ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Funizzle Inc. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

What we collect

Account info: email address and password (hashed by Firebase Authentication).
Pet profiles: names, species, breeds, ages, and notes you choose to add.
Visit logs: vet name, date, treatments, and notes you record.
Approximate location: used in real time to find nearby vet clinics. We do not store location history.
AI chat messages: sent to OpenAI through our secure server to generate responses. Messages are not used to train AI models.
Diagnostics: crash and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics) used to fix bugs and improve the app.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect precise location.
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not collect health data, contacts, photos, browsing history, or financial information.

How we use your data

Run the app's core features (account, pet records, vet finder, AI assistant).
Process your subscription via the App Store / Google Play (we never see your card details).
Send you reminders related to your pet's care.
Diagnose crashes and improve performance.

Third parties we use

Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, crash reports.
OpenAI — AI assistant responses (paid plan only).
RevenueCat — subscription management.
OpenStreetMap / Overpass API — anonymous map and vet lookups.
App Store / Google Play — subscription billing.

Your rights

You can edit your pet profiles, delete visit logs, change your password, or delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.

You can request a copy of your data by emailing us at privacy@vetavet.app.

Children

Vet A Vet is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
